Prosopagnosia is not the inability to see faces, just the inability to tell them apart! A common test for prosopagnosia is to show a series of pictures of famous people and ask who the pictures are of.

But this is fascinating. I will not be an optometrist, but I love anything medical so this is fascinating Thanks for posting.
