Since opening its doors to the first class of students in 1971, the College has grown to become one of the leading colleges of optometry and vision research centers in the world. Location: SUNY is located in the heart of midtown Manhattan on Bryant Park and just one block away from Times Square. All classrooms, research facilities, and the library are located in a 298,000 square-foot, 18-story building on 42nd Street. The University Eye Center is also located in the building with several externship sites located around New York City and beyond.
